Permian Basin Oil & Gas Compensation Survey

The Whitney Smith Company is conducting the 7th annual Permian Basin Oil and Gas Compensation Survey. The survey is sponsored by the Permian Basin Petroleum Association in order to bring an industry compensation survey to its members, as well as to nonmembers, who have E & P operations or a decent sampling of the surveyed job positions in the Permian Basin area.
Participating is especially important for organizations in analyzing pay levels against current market practices. The survey provides comprehensive data for budgeting, setting, and administering competitive pay levels and updating compensation structures.
The 2023 survey will report annual base salary/hourly rates, annual bonus data, target bonus percentages, long-term incentives, and total annual compensation for over 90 benchmark positions. Each surveyed position stratifies salary data by high, low, mean, median, 25th, and 75th percentiles. Results are reported in aggregate, as well as, by company size groups when sufficient data is available. All data is held in the strictest confidence.

DEADLINE: June 30th, 2023
Survey results will be released at the end of July 2023.
